Appointment of General Manager -Operations

The Board of the Frankston Football Club is pleased to announce the appointment of Michelle Gleeson as General Manager – Operations.

In this newly created role, Michelle will:

• oversee the administration of the Club’s day-to-day affairs;
• maintain some of the Club’s key stakeholder relationships; and
• manage and grow the Club’s venue hire and function business, Functions by the Bay.

Michelle brings significant experience to the role, having worked in a range of management and sales positions in the functions, major events and government sectors. She has previously held roles with organisations including Frankston City Council, Frankston RSL, Royal South Yarra Lawn Tennis Club and Rydges Hotels and Resorts. Most recently, Michelle led on the organisation and delivery of a range of events for the Metro Tunnel Project.

Michelle’s proven strengths in stakeholder management, operational delivery, and strategic business development will be instrumental in driving the continued growth of the Frankston Football Club. Her leadership will support the Club’s commitment to financial independence and ongoing investment in both its men’s and women’s football programs.

Michelle has strong family ties to the Frankston Football Club – her great uncle, Mac Gamble was a former player and Life Member of the Club, whilst her parents, Jon and Marilyn Gleeson are Foundation Members.

The Board also extends its sincere thanks to Adrian Lloyd, who has served as Acting General Manager – Operations since March 2025, during the comprehensive recruitment process. Adrian will continue to contribute to the Club’s success in his role as Commercial Lead, focusing on sponsorship and commercial revenue growth.
