We are delighted to share some very significant news for the future of our Club.
Firstly, on behalf of everyone at Frankston Football Club, I would like to sincerely thank Kinetic for their outstanding support as our Naming Rights Partner since 2019.
Kinetic stood beside this Club during one of the most important periods in our history, helping us re- establish ourselves as a proud standalone VFL club and supporting the development of the venue we all know today. Their contribution has been instrumental in helping the Dolphins continue to grow, and we sincerely thank them for everything they have done for our Club and our community.
As one chapter closes, another begins.
It gives me enormous pleasure to announce that, from 1 November 2026, our home will officially become Markscon Stadium.
This partnership represents one of the largest commercial commitments ever made to the Frankston Football Club.
Over the term of the agreement, Markscon will invest one million dollars into our Club, ensuring we can continue to grow both on and off the field for many years to come.
So, who is Markscon?
Markscon is a proudly Victorian, family-owned commercial construction company founded in 2013 by brothers John and Sam Marks.
Based in nearby Moorabbin, the business has grown into one of Victoria’s leading commercial builders, delivering around $150 million of construction every year, with a secured workbook
exceeding half a billion dollars and employing up to 250 people during peak construction periods. Unlike many commercial builders, Markscon doesn’t simply manage projects—they build them.
Using their own workforce, plant and equipment, they self-perform their own basements and concrete superstructures, delivering apartment towers, government-funded affordable housing, office buildings, hotels, retail centres and major mixed-use developments throughout Victoria.
Their projects stretch from Geelong to Brunswick, Melbourne’s inner city, Bayside, Frankston and as far as Phillip Island.
Importantly for us, Markscon is helping transform Activity Centres like Frankston and Moorabbin, creating the homes, workplaces and community infrastructure that will shape these areas for
generations to come.
So why did a company of this scale choose the Frankston Football Club? Well… apart from the blue colours being a pretty good fit…
John and Sam told us something that really resonated.
They didn’t choose Frankston because it was the biggest football club. They chose Frankston because it was the right football club.
They were drawn to the fact that we are proudly a standalone football club—independent, community driven and writing our own story.
They loved the culture they’ve experienced over the past two years. The players are approachable and humble.
The coaching staff, Board, volunteers and members genuinely care about the Club. There is stability.
There is loyalty.
There is authenticity.
And there is an incredible sense of community that you simply can’t manufacture. That culture reflects the very values Markscon has built its own business upon.
John and Sam also believe something else.
They believe Frankston is one of Victoria’s most exciting cities. A city experiencing enormous investment.
A city marked for significant growth.
A city whose future is incredibly bright.
And they believe successful communities are built on more than bricks and mortar. They believe strong communities need strong sporting clubs.
They need places where families come together. Where children dream.
Where volunteers give back.
Where lifelong friendships are formed. Where people are proud to belong.
Markscon believes that by helping make the Dolphins stronger, they can help make the Frankston community stronger.
A stronger football club creates greater community pride. It brings more people into our city.
It encourages participation in local sport. It creates confidence.
It encourages investment.
And ultimately, it helps make Frankston an even better place to live, work and raise a family. That is why this partnership is about so much more than putting a name on a stadium.
It is an investment in our Club.
An investment in our community.
And an investment in the future of Frankston.
President of the Club Pippa Hanson said – Kinetic has been an important part of our club’s journey, and we thank them for their support and contribution over many years. As we look ahead, we are delighted to welcome Markscon as our new Naming Rights Partner. Their
commitment to the club and our community makes them a natural fit, and we look forward to building a successful future together.
