The Frankston Football Club wish to acknowledge the passing of club stalwart Barry Newton
Barry was extremely loyal and totally committed to the Frankston FC over a lifetime- always available to help out and generate valuable revenue
Many of us will remember the Frankston Football Club Friday night disco, pumped up by Barry and Alan Angus and others after the pubs shut. He was a ‘passionate supporter” , known to jump the fence occasionally, always ready to support players with throwing the hat around after a game to raise a few dollars for the players.
Barry was a past committee member and a significant sponsor of the club over many years and was a real character at the club and in business in Frankston . He supported our club for over 50 years and will be sadly missed by all
