We are proud to announce a key signing for season 2019 with one of the premier VFL midfielders Will Fordham putting pen to paper and committing to Frankston for season 2019.
Senior coach Adam Skrobalak was excited to confirm the prized signature of his number one midfielder. He said, ‘Will came to Frankston after three years at North Melbourne looking for more opportunity to play as an inside midfielder. We agreed we would be playing him as an inside mid and since then he has gone from strength to strength. He has break away speed from contest and is an elite endurance runner. Watching Will develop a high level inside game has been a real highlight of our season. There has been some interest from AFL clubs and we would love nothing better for him to get a second opportunity at AFL level, where I’m confident he can make a real impact. If nothing transpires for Will in the upcoming draft period, I’m confident that another year at Frankston will see him become an even more rounded player and be ready to impact back at the highest level. We are really excited that he will continue as a Frankston player in 2019.’
